Starting ASAP working in a primary school in this fantastic and highly rewarding Primary Teaching Assistant role based in Lewisham, South East London.


This cohesive and welcoming primary school is a pillar in the community and would offer a Primary Teaching Assistant the opportunity to build and develop your classroom and teaching skills.

The school is close to excellent transport links which can be accessed from across South East London.


Primary Teaching Assistant - About the role:

Your daily routine would include supporting a class teacher across the school day, ensuring the students are fully supported and the class is running smoothly.

This would include working with pupils on a 1:1 and group basis.


Primary Teaching Assistant - This role will offer you the opportunity to:

  • Classroom experience working in a fantastic school
  • Build & develop your teaching / classroom knowledge
  • Support experience class teachers
  • Work with Early Years, KS1 or KS2 pupils
  • Offer 1:1 and group intervention sessions
  • May require working with students with additional learning difficulties
  • Experience working within an education setting
  • Display an engaging and proactive manner
  • Strong communications skills
  • Able to work as an individual and part of a team
  • Good availability, being able to work under short notice
  • A real enthusiasm for inspiring and supporting pupils
