The Role:


As a Skilled Food Production Operative, you will be working within a food production environment and your duties are listed below.


This is a fast-moving environment, where all team members must work whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hygiene regulations at all times.


Shift Pattern
Night Shift (10 pm until 6 am) £11.78p/h
+ 15% shift allowance


The Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the product is produced safely, meeting the line quality standards, and using the correct materials and or settings to run your machine.
  • Ensure correct traceability is recorded accurately throughout the process.
  • Support the general operators within your area.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business.

Health and Safety:


  • Everybody is responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others:
  • Ensure Prestart check sheets are carried out, and any issues are reported immediately by informing Team Leader/Shift Manager
  • This is a fastmoving environment, all team members must work whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with the hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Ensure the equipment is correctly used and returned in good condition after each use.
  • Raise any health and safety concerns to your Production Team Leader as soon as possible or fill out near miss reporting form.
  • Report near misses/accidents / safety concerns immediately.

Quality:


  • Ensure quality checks are being carried out correctly (CCP, QCP Records) and signed accordingly.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed as required correctly and in a timely manner.
  • If poor quality components are found
- raise immediately to your Production Team Leader, shift manager / QA.

  • Ensure hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices are maintained.
  • Ensure allergen control is maintained, including correct protective clothing, equipment, and deep cleaning.

Performance:


  • Ensure you are following the daily plan (right quantity, sequence, and timing).
  • Make your Team Leader or Manager aware of any time deviation and record accordingly.
  • Update SIC sheets

Essential Requirements

  • Experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Comply with sanitation hygiene regulations and health and safety standards
  • GCSE Maths & English Pass
  • Able to follow instructions outlined by your shift supervisor
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • You will be able to travel to our Nuneaton Site
  • Able to work within small teams
  • Fit & Healthy as the role will involve some lifting
