RESPONSIBILITIES

Setting your project up for success by building and maintaining a project plan to track delivery against agreed milestones as well as managing delivery risk
Identifies the communications and relationship needs of stakeholder groups. Translates communications / stakeholder engagement strategies into specific activities and deliverables and ensures implementation thereof
Effectively estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the project(s) to agreed terms of reference and business benefits
Builds, leads, and coaches multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles
Keeps project financial records up to date, ensuring appropriate levels of contingency are being held for the unknowns
Engages with and actively manages 3rd parties and is closely involved with the procurement of services, hardware and software throughout the project lifecycle
Engages proactively and collaboratively with suppliers to resolve incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

Excellent understanding of project management techniques and ability to tailor your delivery style using the most appropriate methodology for the project
Proven success in delivering Business Change in a high growth environment, working with both Business and inhouse/external IT teams.
Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to handle conflict
Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
An ability to navigate the Organisation, and effectively communicate with both technical and nontechnical users at all levels of an organisation
Experience with Agile frameworks (SCRUM, Kanban, hybrid of Agile/Waterfall delivery approaches)

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:

Have a modern knowledge of the IT industry, and its ways of working, with Commercial & Customer focus in an IT environment.
Have previous experience of working in Financial Services.
