Job Introduction

Reablement Support Worker - HARP Team Based at Bradley Reablement Centre**
Salary (Grade 5) - £27,803 - £31,364 (pro-rata)**
Permanent 4 x 25 hour posts
The HARP Team has an exciting opportunity for permanent reablement support workers to join our team.

The HARP Teamwork across Wolverhampton City providing support to adults in their own homes, rated as 'good' in our last CQC inspection.

The HARP Team is committed to providing opportunity, choice, involvement & control to all individuals that we support.

We are looking for applicants who are committed to develop creative ways to support & motivate individuals to achieve good outcomes that maximise interaction, involvement & independence.

The service has 4 x 25 hour posts available.

Successful applicants will be required to work on a rota basis between the hours of 7.30am - 10pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

Applications for the role of Reablement Support Worker would be welcomed from applicants who:

  • Can identify & create opportunities for individuals to meet their goals and outcomes.
  • Develop creative ways to motivate & encourage participation in daytoday routines
  • Enable & promote independence for individuals.
  • Provide safe & compassionate care & support within a regulated service.
  • Experience of working with adults in a communitybased service or Regulated Residential Service.
All applicants should note that this post will require an enhanced DBS check prior to appointment.


Our working arrangements
All council roles are allocated to either a fixed, field or flexible work style.

Some roles are agile which enable and empowers employees to maximise their performance and productivity, whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance.

Roles with a fixed workstyle work in a fixed permanent council location.

Roles with a field workstyle are usually allocation where employees are required to be out working in the community with a minimum requirement for 'touch down' space at any council location.

Roles with a flexible workstyle have a flexible base location to meet the needs of the business and employees can work from a mixture of home or any council office, partner/client, or external location, as required to meet service requirements.
