STATISTCS
**SEN Secondary School Teaching Assistant

  • East London / Islington ( Links to London Bridge, London Victoria, Overground, Bus routes)
**MPS / UPS + SEN depending on Experience

  • Knowledge of the KS2 UK Curriculum
  • MUST have minimum 2 years' experience with the UK Curriculum
  • MUST have a DBS ( On the update service)
**Long term, Full-Time position March 2023 Start


THE ROLE
As a Teaching Assistant you will be working alongside the classroom teacher on a daily basis. You will work with pupils on 1:1 basis as well as on a generic level. Some pupils may need extra assistance due to their behavior and academic abilities in and outof the classroom.

Assistance will be at reach from the other members in the department with strong knowledge and blended skills it will be beneficial for your CPD in your career.


CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

The school needs a SEN Assistant Teacher who has a history of setting high expectations for both themselves and their pupils and seeing them through with the guidance and coaching needed.

You will have the spark of imagination necessary to work closely withpupils, who are constantly evolving and learning with real creativity and flare.

As a SEN Assistant Teacher you will have the drive to assist the classroom teacher bringing clarity and efficiency lessons and deal with challenging situations with ease.

You will be easily approachable and have a confident yet calm aura.

Your skills will revolvearound showing how sensitive you are and how you are able to explore solutions to situations in a way that is understanding to the needs of every pupil.
