Role:
Field Service Engineering Fitter

Location:
Based at the Winsford Manufacturing site

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 07:30am till 16:30 - Friday 7:30am till 13:00

Starting Salary:
£29,000 to £31,000 per year dependent on experience

We are looking for a Field Service Engineering Fitter to join on a permanent basis, who wants to be part of a progressive, growing, dynamic specialist Engineering and Manufacturing Business.


You will be based at the Winsford site, but will have the opportunity to develop your Mechanical/Engineering knowledge and eventually participate in on site warranty and service work when required.


  • Do you hold qualifications or an apprenticeship in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or in Performing Engineering Operations?
  • Do you hold qualifications in basic Electrical understanding/maintenance?
Holding similar or equivalent qualifications will benefit.

Some of the duties you will be performing will include:

  • Assist with engineering issues in various states of manufacturing
  • Troubleshoot and adapt to challenges on site
  • Operate various machinery including overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Read, Interpret and mark up engineering drawings and other technical material
  • Perform failure analysis and service calls to determine the cause of malfunction
  • Assist customers with technical issues as required
  • Perform onsite service and warranty functions as required
  • Communicate clearly to customers and team members at all times
  • Assist Engineering and Estimating Departments with bid and proposal work as requested
