What is the role?
This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Apprentice to join the Finance Team. This role typically reports to the Finance Manager.
When you begin your employment, we will enroll you on a Financial Apprenticeship Qualification Course.
The course will be provided by a qualified external training body and could include weekly day release for classroom training at an approved training facility as well as tutoring in person or online prior to all examinations at a designated examination centre.
Full details can be provided at interview. Full Training will be provided in all areas.The role will include:
- Processing Purchase ledger and Sub Contract Ledger Invoices
- Supporting weekly supplier payment runs
- Obtaining Signatures
- Banking Transactions including Raising Cheques and TT Requests.
- Monitoring the Department's E Mail account
- Daily administration of the Post
- Any Ad Hoc Duties requested by the Finance Manager
What we need from you?
- A good level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Positive outlook together with a strong desire to learn the financial operations of a successful housebuilding organisation
