  • Although experience within the Insurance/ Reinsurance industry would be beneficial, it's not essential for the role, providing you have worked in a similar type of corporate, professional services business.
  • This position will be in the Lockton Re Non-Marine Retrocession and Property Specialty team. It will consist of PA support to the Head of Non-Marine Retro and admin support to the UK based team of brokers who report into the Head of this team including the Operations Executive and Technical Executive.
  • PA for 2 Senior Brokers in the London Retro Team primary areas of responsibility will include:
  • Arranging complex domestic and overseas travel including providing full itineraries, arranging all client and market meetings
  • Assist with maintenance of absence and holiday input and absence reporting via Lockton HR Web Portal
  • General business updates including
  • BCP, Gifts and Entertainment, Org Charts etc.
  • Formatting / drafting correspondence and documents efficiently and accurately
  • Meeting and greeting external and internal guests arranging
- meeting rooms and catering

  • Events
  • Travel
  • Broader team support primary areas of responsibility will include:
  • Providing team diary management, setting up market and client meetings
  • Providing team travel/logistics planning/management including organising client and market meetings and providing an itinerary
  • Providing admin assistance to the Operations Executive and working closely together to ensure the team has smooth and robust processes taking all admin away from Brokers so they can concentrate on our clients
  • Managing all events internal and external
  • Expense management handling expenses including checking of those submitted to their manager

Qualification:


  • Within the role your overall remit will entail:
  • Effectively plan and organise your workload in order to meet business demands/timescales.
  • Utilising Lockton core systems to effectively manage the company's business.
  • Selfmotivate in order to achieve desired results with regard to team(s), division, company and annual personal objectives.
  • Develop internal / external relationships, communicating at all levels.
  • Contribute to effective working relationships with other business unit PA's, overseas offices, HQ management and external clients
  • Develop PA skills into EA skills working closely with Ops Exec to do this
  • The right individual will be proactive, energetic, upbeat and efficient with experience in a similar role. You will have strong IT skills, particularly Office, Word, Excel, Webex, Outlook, strong typing, Concur and Salesforce, (the latter two can be easily learned).
