Opportunities have risen for 1 x Advanced Practitioners in Social Work to join Pennine Integrated Neighbourhood Team.


This is an exciting time to join Rochdale as we move forward with social care reform and integration between health and social care, further developing our workforce, locality teams and services to meet the needs of individuals and communities in new and innovative ways.


As an Advanced Practitioner within Rochdale, you will be supported in your professional development through regular one to one supervision, peer groups and our comprehensive learning and development offer which includes our in-house Aspiring Managers programme.

You will have opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge within adult services, and areas of specific interest.


We are seeking to appoint a focused and passionate Advanced Practitioner who can champion excellent strength based practice to improve outcomes for adults.

Therefore, it is essential that the post holder is able to work relationally with others with a flexible and adaptable approach - always demonstrating their commitment to working to the highest possible standards whilst remaining service user focussed at all times.


The Integrated Neighbourhood Teams are made up of 5 Localities, as below, and cover the various statutory functions associated with Adult Care, offering practitioners a variety of casework and practice.

This includes strength based assessment & support planning, Safeguarding & risk management, Mental Capacity & Best Interest work, Learning Disability & Autism support, while working within a multi-disciplinary setting.

The post holder's must be able to demonstrate an ability to travel around the Borough of Rochdale.


In accordance with Section 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 this post requires the ability to converse at ease with the members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
