Ward 26 at Heartlands Hospital is looking for a 12 month fixed term Band 4 Flow Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

Ward 26 is a fast and exciting respiratory ward, with complex patients and discharges, specialising in Cystic Fibrosis.

The post involves the early preparation, facilitation and execution of complex respiratory discharges, in order to promote early flow and bed capacity on the ward to support the prompt admission process required by this speciality of patients.

The role will involve liaising with the MDT and external agencies to ensure the safe discharge of patients to their determined destination.

The ability to develop working relationships with the relevant General Managers and Operational Managers to ensure escalation of non-compliant pathways occur and actions are put in place to address any delays.
