Bridgman is a leading quality, luxury furniture retailer with a 45-year heritage in British design.

Bridgman's vision is to move away from solely garden furniture but create a presence within and around the home year-round.


We are looking for a Customer Service Manager to join the team, and report directly to the Head of Operations.

The key to success in this role is ensuring that the customer is at the heart of everything you do and that all customer interaction is positive to enhance customer satisfaction.


Salary:
£35k depending on experience

Responsibilities include:


  • Ensure high levels of customer excellence throughout all work performed
  • Understanding the customers' requirements by asking questions to engage the customer and where relevant, making a sales
  • Log all customer queries and feedback in a timely and professional manner across our portals and any other forums as required
  • Work closely with the operation team and other 3rd parties to follow up and resolve any dispatch issues.
  • Impart to the Director any suggestions to improve and flag reoccurring issues within the customer experience, based on customer feedback
  • Ensure all complaints/queries are reported and fed back to the management teams
  • Fulfil all Ad hoc admin duties
  • Utilize and develop template response library
  • Selfserving and showing initiative to understand business process changes
  • Ensure effective communication within the team by taking part in regular team briefing sessions
  • Choose to have a sympathetic attitude toward others, and a willingness to do good for our team, colleagues, suppliers, and customers.

Key Skills:


  • Min. 2 years' experience
  • Preferably in the retail industry
  • Experience in using Trustpilot and Gorgias
  • Good customer service experience
  • Embraces a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work to deadlines.
