The Production Operator will be responsible for manufacturing steel fence components and gates.

Responsibilities:

Following instruction from all Supervisors/Managers
Ensuring that all set Production targets are met or exceeded
Carry out general yard or laboring duties as required
Ensuring that general housekeeping is to a high standard
Operate a forklift truck or lorry loader (only if externally trained, certificated and authorised to do so)
Operate other plant/machinery (only if trained and authorised to do so)
Weld to a good and acceptable standard (only if trained and correctly authorised to do so);
Ensure that all vehicles are correctly and safely loaded/unloaded
Ensure that all equipment is of the correct quantity and fit for purpose
Ensure that any defective plant/machinery/equipment is reported and quarantined as required
Ensure that all employees carry out their duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures as set out in the Company Employee handbook and current legislation and risk assessments
Report any accidents immediately
Ensure all appropriate PPE is worn when required
Ensure that the integrity and image of the Company is maintained at all times
