We have a great opportunity for you to become a Personal Assistant to a student beginning their university journey studying
Zoology at Bangor university.

Our client's suffers from Postural tachycardia syndrome (PoTS) and this impacts many aspects of their life. They enjoy watching anime films by Studio Ghibli, drawing, playing video games and listening to indie music.

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

Duties will include

Cooking, cleaning and shopping for the client
Work with the team to ensure information and issues arising during your shift are correctly reported and followed up;
Assist the student with administration tasks as required;
Assist in emergency evacuations in halls, if the situation arises, as instructed by the halls manager;
Encourage the student to engage in clubs/activities and societies;
Maintain good order, appearance and behaviour.
Assist the student with the organisation of events and extracurricular activities.

About You:

For this role, we are looking for a person who is calm, patient and caring

Additionally, they will:

Possess great organisational skills and the ability to work on their own initiative
A mature and responsible attitude
Great communication skills
To be fluent in English.
To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
A full clean UK driving licence (Desirable)

Salary, Benefits & Hours:

Salary:

- £15 per hour.

Hours - 84 hours per week. Rota's/shifts to be confirmed.

Location:
Bangor University, Wales.

All applicants must be prepared to undergo screening to confirm their suitability to work with a disabled young person. We have various positions throughout the UK with a range of start dates from September 2023 to December 2023.
