AVPlacements are looking for an Aviation based
Component Dispatcher and Component Repair Operative.

Monday to Friday 08:30am-5:30pm
If you have the skillsets from either aspect of the combined role, we would love to hear from you.


The key responsibilities for the Component Dispatch aspect:

  • Provide excellent Customer Service at all times.
  • Accurately input information onto the service management system
  • Raise customer quotes as appropriate and obtain purchase orders from customers for chargeable jobs.
  • Regularly check the progression of jobs to ensure we achieve service level agreements.
  • Provide phone support to engineers in the field.
  • Actively work towards Department KPI's and achieving company goals.
  • Comply with the company's business

Repair Inspection requirements:


Key responsibilities:

  • Reading and understanding trace documents, attention to detail is paramount to check documentation received or generated for the purpose of the task at hand.
  • Attention to detail in visual inspection and handling of incoming and outgoing unserviceable parts.
  • Ensure transactions are carried out within inhouse systems and customer systems accurately
  • Control of all goods received, handled and despatched throughout Stores and Despatch and Transport system, with special emphasis to compliance accurate labelling and storage locations.
  • Knowledge of different Repair transaction types.
  • Ensure all materials are packed appropriately and are either issued/transferred or stored as appropriate ensuring the computer system is accurately updated to reflect parts location.
  • Making use of all Dangerous Goods awareness training. Practice and utilise control measures and facilities provided. Ensure equipment is returned and stored properly.
  • Follow compliance with all ISO, company and legal requirements with special attention to aviation and premises security, health and safety and dangerous goods handling.
  • Attending all safety and functional training that is offered.
  • Comply fully with Security awareness and ESD Training.
  • Maintain the required standards of housekeeping and cleanliness including safety precautions complying with Health & Safety regulations. Maintain your personal work area in a clean and orderly manner. Wearing, maintaining and properly storing your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure that all service failures, damage, discrepancies and incidents are acted upon effectively and reported. Reports to be escalated to your supervisor.
  • Responsibilities are not exhaustive of the above.
  • Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting superior.

£29,999.00-£30,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • Aviation Logistics or
Component Shipping: 2 years (required)
Component Repair: 2 years (preferred)
Dangerous Goods: 1 year (preferred)
Logistics Dispatch: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)
