This vacancy is only open to North Somerset Council employees and agency workers contracted to North Somerset Council.


Working within the Seafronts and Parks Team the postholder will be responsible for the delivery of a programme of activities and events at The Tropicana, Weston-super-Mare.


The role will involve working with external event organisers, promoters, agencies and partners in curating a wide ranging and commercially focused cultural offer.

The potholder will also work with internal teams and services to support and inform the delivery of the Levelling Up Funding as well as the future delivery model of The Tropicana.

Responsible for coordinating the development and growth of broad range of cultural and entertainment based at The Tropicana.

Expected to undertake financial, income based or technical assessments/activities and make decisions based on those assessments within the venue, using skills that would have been gained through professional qualifications and/or practical experience.

Roles at this level can be involved in supervising/managing the work of others within an overall management framework.


The postholder will be required to work some evenings and weekends as part of a rota and when service demands are high.

This is a permanent, full time position.
