Description

Our client, a highly successful business based in Watton, are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their fantastic team on a 12 month contract basis to cover maternity leave.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this exciting role will take responsibilityfor the day to day running of the finance department including managing a team of six within a fast-paced company.

Job requirements of Finance Manager:

Manage the day to day operations of the finance department
Management of finance team
Oversee the completion of the monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
Oversee the credit control function (purchase and sales ledger)
Full ownership of external and internal audits (including resolution of all points raised)
Ownership of environmental and risk reporting
Ensure all polices and procedures are adhered to
Drive improvement in the use of IT within the department for reporting and internal control

What you will need:

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
Experience managing people within a busy finance department
Experience of dealing with external auditors (preferable: experience of working within an audit function)
Ability to report large amounts of data accurately and to tight timescales
Personable, with the ability to manage and motivate different personalities
