An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team here
in Jewson Bowness as a
Yard Assistant.

This role offers a great level of variety, as you will have a balanced mix of responsibilities; working in the yard, assisting throughout the warehouse, and helping on the counter and shop floor when needed.


A driving license is essential for this role

What will I be doing in this role?

  • Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
  • Offering first class customer care to all customers ensuring we understand their projects and can offer the best products
  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
  • Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock count
  • Loading and unloading lorries and customer vehicles
  • Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
  • Using Forklift truck to move stock safely

Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 and every other Saturday 08:00 - 12:00

£26,000.00 per year
