The Role:

The role of the Finance Business Partner involves close collaboration with various business units within the UK business.

The primary objective is to provide support in actively managing business performance, fostering growth, and overseeing budgeting and forecasting activities.

This position will work closely with stakeholders across different departments to ensure financial strategies align with organisational goals and objectives.

Additionally, the Finance Business Partner will be tasked with analysing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to facilitate informed decision-making processes within the organisation
Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with Commercial Finance team and operational business units.
  • Oversee the performance, budgeting, and forecasting of your assigned business lines.
  • Provide financial support to Project Managers and Project Controllers.
  • Develop comprehensive management reporting and analysis to promote transparency.
  • Engage in discussions aimed at enhancing key performance areas such as growth, profitability, and cash generation.
  • Produce concise commentaries and variance analyses on operational financial performance.
  • Maintain high standard of commercial and project management.
  • Collaborate with the business to ensure consistency in financial reporting and planning processes.
  • Work alongside Project Accounting team assisting in coordinating monthly project review cycle and analyse project financial performance to identify challenges and solutions.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and lean management, optimising key business processes, roles, controls, and technology.
  • Ensuring compliance with group accounting policies.

Requirements:


  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience enhancing controls, processes, and procedures
  • Experience of working within a large corporate environment
  • Operationally and commercially astute professional
  • Strong leadership acumen
  • Adept communication skills across various business tiers
  • An innovative and changeoriented
  • Various ERP System experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS
