An exciting new position has arisen within in the Bolton Home Based Treatment Team.

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual who has excellent attention to detail, is able to plan and prioritise workload and multitask to meet tight deadlines.


The Senior Administrator role includes supporting multiple consultants and medical staff within the Bolton Divisions Home Based Treatment Team and coordinate a team of medical administrators / administrators, ensuring the most efficient and effective use of resources.

The post holder will have line management and supervisory responsibility for the medical administrators / administrators and support staff.


You will be responsible for the coordination of the validation of all reports coming into the service regarding data quality and data completeness.

You will be responsible for the assurance of meeting all local and national targets.

You will be a well organised and experienced with knowledge of medical terminology.

You will ensure all consultants and clinicians within your area of responsibility are organised and equipped to fulfil their responsibilities.

Appropriate electronic systems will be maintained, along with coordinating their activities.

We are looking for a Senior Administrator to carry out all relevant tasks pertinent to the Consultant Psychiatrist and the line management of your administration team which may include:

  • Administrative support on behalf of the Consultant Psychiatrist.
  • Administrative support in respect of the Postgraduate Teaching Programme.
  • Administrative support to the team/s within your area.
  • To robustly line manage and appraise your administration and support staff.
  • To adhere to policies and procedures in line with managing of staff members.
