Assembly Operative

Full Time - 4 1/2 day a week (40hrs)

Part time - 20hrs

KME Steelworks is a successful, innovative engineering and manufacturing business, which specialises in the design and manufacture of a wide range of steel products.


Our 3 specific areas of expertise centre around:
Steel moulds for Precast Concert Products, Laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication work & Precision CNC Machining.

Job Summary - Responsibilities & Duties

  • Work as part of a production team
  • Working within daily/weekly targets
  • Flexible
  • Use of power tools including drills, chop saws, rivet guns
  • Build product from drawing provided.
Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience within an assembly role essential
  • High standard of workmanship essential
  • Ability to solve problems essential
  • Ability to work as part of a team or solo essential
  • Positive attitude towards work essential
