HOURS Full time
  • Monday to Friday
8:30am - 17:00pm (4:30 Friday finish - Non term time position all year)


LOCATION Peterborough College


QRS are currently recruiting on behalf of Inspire Education Group for a Student Recruitment Advisor to work at Peterborough college.

Job Details:


To contribute effectively to the student admission experience by being on call to support queries across multiple areas within the department.

You will have responsibilities within the areas such as Student recruitment, student guidance, bursary, transport, enrolment, and onboarding.


This is a customer facing role which will require you to be a support service for current and potential new students.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Undertake all student recruitment and admissions activity in a way which ensures maximised student recruitment in a timely manner by providing an outstanding customer experience, treating all incoming enquiries as potential enrolments.
  • Take part in student recruitment activities including open days, welcome days, parents' evenings etc
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with the careers team to ensure information provided to customers is the highest possible standard and accuracy.
  • Support and assist the College with preparation for various external awards, audits, and accreditations such as Matrix and Career Mark
  • Administer and process student financial support mechanisms including all bursaries and free college meals to ensure support mechanisms are promoted and that eligible students receive the correct funding.
  • Support all applicants and college departments with all elements of the onboarding and enrolment process this will include all forms of general admin support and processing enrolments for part time courses to provide an outstanding onboarding experience for all IEG applicants.

Person Specifications:


  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal English.
  • Experience in a customer facing role (either telephone or face to face
  • Passionate, empathetic nature to be able to support students effectively.
  • Resilient, dedicated approach to work
  • Able to work full time hours


For this role, we are looking for someone with a helpful, and kind-hearted nature with brilliant communication skills - qualifications are a bonus, but not a requirement.
