PART TIME Personal Assistant / Carer (children's complex care) Wirral
- £14.00 per hour working with a Male Client

Full training Provided

hours per week, OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS

7am-9am and 3pm-8pm Thursday

Additional hours throughout the day in the holidays and regular weekend work.

Potential to increase hours to include 7am-9am and 3pm-8pm on Fridays

We require an enthusiastic and caring individual to assist a little boy with a complex disability.

This role would entail undertaking a range of duties in supporting him to further access the community. You will be enriching his days with varied and interesting activities within his home and community setting.

Meet our amazing client:
I am a little boy with complex disability. I am dependent on others to aid me undertake all activities of daily living. I have a gastrostomy for all nutrition, hydration, and medication. I have a stoma bag which required regular care. I am not able to walk and have a fully adapted living space with hoists and all essential equipment. I can move around on the floor to get about and can be quite speedy. I also have epilepsy which can really take it out of me sometimes.

I am a fun-loving person and I like music, anything that lights up, books, Mr Tumble and my smile can light up the room.

What you will have:
A genuine interest in providing the best person-centred care possible.

Full driving license - preferable but not essential

Ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A fun and enthusiastic outlook with a love of books and music

Previous experience of working with children in a community setting or people with complex needs is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

A DBS will be paid for by the employer.
