Description

Duties:


  • Loading and unloading of vehicles from small vans to double decker trailers with a counterbalance forklift.
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles from a dock bay leveller with either counterbalance or PPT.
  • Preparing vehicle loads for the following shift.
  • Moving pallets and reporting any issues to the warehouse manager.
  • Moving vehicles around in a safe manner.
  • Communicating with drivers as to where you wish their vehicles to be parked.
  • Ensuring all vehicles are locked and are safe.

Attitude:


  • A cando attitude.
  • Good problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to organise their workload based on a priority basis.

Requirements:


  • Counterbalance forklift licence.
  • PPT licence.
  • 7.5T lorry licence (preferable but not required).
  • Previous experience in a fastpaced warehouse environment (preferable but not required).
  • English speaking.
Pay to be reviewed after 3 months.


Salary:
£9.50-£10.00 per hour

Experience:

- forklift: 1 year (preferred)
