Role Purpose


In the role you will lead a gang of 3 to 4 members and will need to show proven experience in a previous lead hand/ ganger role.

Experience in civil groundwork, pipelaying and concrete is essential.


Core duties will include:

  • Being the quality and safety lead for your gang and to ensure correct work and practises are followed.
  • Assist in preparation of risk assessments and method statements and then to ensure these are followed
  • Monitor and report on subcontractor safety performance
  • Deliver work of the highest quality and value, whilst demonstrating excellent standards of safety
Tickets Required

  • Current CSCS Card
  • Current CPCS/ NOCN Plant Card
  • Full UK Driving License
Advantageous

  • National Water Hygiene Card
  • SSSTS
  • Slinger Signaller/ Lift Supervisor
  • Confined Spaces C&G
  • First Aid
  • NRASWA
Training will be provided if needed.

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
