Fixed term / Secondment until 31/03/2024 due to funding

The Head of Delivery will work under the direction of the Head of Vaccine Preventable Disease Programme (VPDP) and will have responsibility for an agreed portfolio of work.

This will include leading the development of operational change programmes in the division, ensuring that Directorate business and governance arrangements are in place and working effectively.

The post holder will be a key member of the Senior Leadership team, and as required and work with key leads within Operations, People and Organisational Development and Finance in order to support delivery of the programmes goals.

The post holder will provide operational planning, performance, and business continuity advice to, and work with, the VPDP SLT and Health Protection Operation Team.

The post holder will have a key leadership role and will be responsible for ensuring that there are systems and processes in place to ensure the flow of information generated for further agreement and scrutiny operate in a clear way.

The postholder will be responsible for providing senior management support to the Head of VPDP, and working with the Head of Operations for Health Protection for the effective strategic and operational management of the programme, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
