We source all our products direct from suppliers, retail them across 80 different platforms worldwide and distribute them directly to our customers from one of our Monster distribution centres.

Due to our phenomenal growth we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join our team based in York.

You will be analytically minded and commercially aware, with amazing IT and organisational skills to help deliver outstanding value and excellent performance across our product ranges.


Reporting to our Supply Chain Manager you will play a crucial role in providing commercial input into existing products and discovering new and exciting products to bring to market.


Daily Tasks:


  • Identifying new oppurtunities in the market.
  • Research and collate market, consumer, seasonal and competitor data.
  • Sourcing new products.
  • Keep up to date with current and future product trends.
  • Use findings to create new ideas for commercially successful products.
  • Expand on existing product ranges.
  • Work with the Daily Deal sites to determine successful new products specifically for their daily deals.
  • Communicate findings and new product suggestions with the team.
  • Manage the production and shipment of all new product orders.

Key Skills required:


  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Good Maths skills.
  • Forwardthinking, innovative and proactive.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Market research experience would be beneficial.
  • Ecommerce knowledge would be advantageous.

Working hours:
Full time, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm (37.5hrs per week with 1 hour for lunch).


You will be based at our modern offices near Sheriff Hutton (YO60) therefore it is essential that you have your own transport.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • York: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
