Description

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced Market Operative for a job based in GRIMSBY for work within a Market Hall.


Responsibilities:


  • To patrol the market hall, food hall premises and immediate surrounding areas on a regular basis and record findings
  • Assist with the management of unauthorised individuals who enter the market.
  • Operate a Digital radio and communicate with other Market operatives
  • Report and record all defects, near misses and incidents in the correct manner
  • Record footfall counter
  • Responsible for the collection of the post and distribution
  • Assist in all emergencies with regards to the building and person(s) including first aid and fire evacuation procedures
  • To assist in the efficient and effective day to day operation of the Markets Department when needed
  • To work face to face with service users and assist with any issues that may arise
  • Assist with the management of health and safety and risk management in the operation of the service including directing service users on the procedures in their licence
  • Assist with the management of contractors who visit the site to carry out maintenance and repairs and ensure works are carried out to completion
  • Assists in the formulation and implementation of solutions to practical problems.

Pay:

- £10.90

  • Weekly pay.

About You:


  • Speak & understand fluent English.
  • Experienced with COSHH.
