PHARMACY SUPPORT WORKER - Band 2 West of Scotand Cancer Centre:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Support Worker to join Preparative Services GG&C. Based at WoSCC you will provide support to the existing aseptic preparation team.

The main duties of this post will consist of contributing to the day to day running of the Pharmacy department and to undertake routine technical activities within the dispensary, aseptic unit and clinical trials. You will also contribute to the environmental and stock management program.

A general education, basic numeric and literacy skills demonstrated by 3 standard grade qualifications or equivalent, must include English and Maths as well as good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Previous experience of working in a healthcare environment or similar is desirable.

This is a full time post 37.5hrs and will be worked 5/7 and includes weekend working and participation in public holidays.
