We are looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team At our client facility in Wolverhampton, who make products for the largest fast food chain globally The job purpose is to check line product quality and carry out process checks.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure specification standards are fully adhered to.
- Document all findings and actions, including requirements for fallow up for all checks carried out.
- To fully understand the importance of safe working practice and procedures related to all areas of their work and be fully aware of all the required safety equipment needed to perform his/her tasks an how equipment should be used.
- To fully understand and comply with all department and company policies and guidelines.
- Some manual handling averaging 18kg
- To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards
- Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines
- To carry out instructions as given by First Line Manager/ Management
Position Challenge /working conditions
- Type of work is of a repetitive nature
- Majority of time is spent on factory floor, working in a chilled environment
- Lifting weights to a maximum of 18kg
- Working with machinery
Person Specifications
- Basic food Hygiene
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience of working in the food manufacturing industry.
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Manufacturing not necessary but could be advantageous
- Basic IT skills

Pay rate:
£12.39 / OT £17.71
