Executive Talent Solutions are working with a leading property and hospitality group to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator.

The business is a successful international property and leisure group based in Central London. They operate several high end hotels and restaurants as well as developing further sites.

The successful Accounts Payable Coordinator will work as part of a broader finance team. The role offers a salary of £28-30k plus benefits. The role is office based in Mayfair 5 days per week (not hybrid working).


Key responsibilities include:

  • Become part of our finance team taking sole charge of the Accounts payable function for multiple Group holding companies and Development projects
  • Make sure our partners and suppliers are paid on time and remittances sent
  • Ensure Invoices and Expenses promptly go through the correct approval workflows according to the Groups DoA and are accurately recorded in the accounting system
  • Ensure invoices are billed to correct entity and posted to the same relevant company within the accounting system.
  • Understand VAT treatment so Invoices are coded correctly for VAT returns
  • Create payment runs and upload multicurrency payments in the banking systems and send off to appropriate bank approvers within the Groups signatory limits policy.
  • Ensure sufficient funds available, assist with intergroup transfers and manage cash flow
  • Keep vendor data current and accurate as well as the authentication of new suppliers
  • Help us have a clear picture of the financial coming and goings, through regular reconciliations, solving queries and completing AP month end closing
  • Work to strengthen and build relationships within our business and with our external partners
  • Help improve AP processes using innovative solutions
  • Maintain clear and organised records and work with our auditors during the Year End Audit
