Contracts Manager - Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

Up to £55K + Car Allowance + Benefits

My client is a leading contractor operating within the Social Housing repairs and maintenance sector.

Due to continued expansion, they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join their team based in Hertfordshire.


As a Contracts Manager, you will work in partnership with the Local Authority client to successfully deliver a repairs, voids and planned works service in a safe, and effective manner.

You will be a key decision maker, who will enhance success on the currentproject as well as shaping the future growth of the business.


We are looking for somebody who is values driven, who will act as a brand ambassador at all times, developing positive relationships with clients and colleagues, and empowering and developing the team around you to build a talented succession plan.


Contracts Manager Experience:


  • Proven track record in leading and delivering repairs and maintenance contracts with public sector / housing association clients.
  • IT Literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Ability to understand client / contract requirements to maximise productivity and measure and improvement
  • Commercial and financial understanding
  • Good understanding of H&S legislation
  • Experience of managing and improving internal and external customer relationships and conflict handling
  • Experience managing directly employed workforce including Supervisors and Multi-Trade Operatives
