An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Therapy Assistant to join the Orthopaedic and Outreach Therapy team who are part of the Integrated Community Services Division.
New Health and Social Care Act Regulations were approved by Parliament on the 22nd July 2021, which requires all those working or entering a CQC registered care home (for persons who require nursing or personal care) to be fully vaccinated (Covid 19) from the 11th November 2021, unless exempt under the regulations.
As a member of the wider multi-disciplinary team you will work alongside and support Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy staff in providing specialist treatment, intervention and advice.
You will need to have very good communication skills, both spoken and written, be confident working with a wide range of health professionals and keen to develop your own skills and experience.
The post offers the opportunity to develop skills within therapy services on the Orthopaedic wards and as part of the Outreach Team.
The team offer a supportive environment and the opportunity to work alongside other therapy assistants.

This post will involve working on acute orthopaedic trauma and elective wards and with out outreach staff who visit patients in their own home.
