Role Outline

We are looking for a licensed security dog handler with a NASDU registered dog to perform security guarding services on our client's construction sites.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Ensuring the site is safe and secure
Monitoring site access points & assets
Dealing with members of the public who approach/enter the site
Preventing losses and damage by reporting any irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures
Completing patrols around the site
Controlling traffic by directing drivers
Completing daily occurrence logs during shift
Reporting suspicious activity

About You:

Must hold a valid SIA license
Must have own certified NASDU registered dog, with full insurance and uptodate vaccinations
You will need to be a good written and verbal communicator
Professional and presentable at all times
Must be confident enough to raise alarms and contact emergency services
Must be comfortable with completing relevant paperwork

Working Times:

We may require you to work on different sites fulfilling different duties and working a variety of different shift patterns, therefore you will be required to have a flexible approach to the work offered.

It is beneficial if you have your own transport.

Salary:
£12.75 per hour
