A national organisation are seeking a Commercial Accountant to join the team.

This is fantastic opportunity for someone who is seeking an accounting role but also enjoys interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.

The Role

Duties of the commercial accountant will include:

Be responsible for producing monthly trading accounts including variance analysis, key performance indicators and supporting commentaries in line with agreed SLA and reporting deadlines;
To be involved with budgeting and forecasting process
To attend and actively participate in client meetings
To obtain, interpret and analyse data and take a proactive role in helping the senior leadership team understand financial information
To provide supporting data and relevant analysis to the client in an effective and timely manner
To prepare analysis highlighting key movements between actual and trading positions

The Person
To be considered for the Commercial Accountant role you will be:

AAT Qualified, Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or qualified by experience
Experience in a commercial finance role or a Finance Business Partnering role would be beneficial
Be a strong communicator
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Strong user of Excel
