We are delighted to be able to announce an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Rheumatology Service within the Nottingham Children's Hospital.

Our service is expanding and we are looking to recruit to the post of Patient Pathway Administrator/Support Secretary to join our busy and friendly team.

You will be working alongside our Speciality PA, delivering high quality administrative support.


It is preferable that you have had previous NHS experience in a similar role, a good level of education and experience of using different IT systems (such as Medical Office and Careflow).

You will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages.


In addition to the below summary you need to familiarise yourself with the full job description and person specification documents attached to the advert.


You will be responsible for the accurate audio typing and transcription of all clinical correspondence across specialities within the Directorate, but in particular for Paediatric Rheumatology.


You will be expected to ensure all clinical correspondence is typed and processed within specified timescales and you will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to the role.

You will need fast and accurate audio typing skills and a sound knowledge of NHS medical terminology is preferred.
