Teaching assistant
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Acton, Ealing.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Provide targeted support to students with special educational needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavior problems
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support the class teacher in the management of student behavior and pastoral care
- Assist with administrative tasks such as recordkeeping and preparing resources
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning) desiable not essential.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, and behavior problems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Salary:
£79.00-£90.00 per day
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
