Teaching assistant

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Acton, Ealing.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
Provide targeted support to students with special educational needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavior problems
Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support the class teacher in the management of student behavior and pastoral care
Assist with administrative tasks such as recordkeeping and preparing resources

Requirements:

Relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning) desiable not essential.
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
Experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, and behavior problems
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Salary:
£79.00-£90.00 per day
