Job Details:
- Year Group: KS2, KS3, KS4
- Location: Derby City Centre
- Qualifications: Level 3 Childcare, SEN qualifications
- Experience: 3 years experience in a similar role
- Pay Rate: £81.76+
- Permanent or Contract: Fulltime temporary
- Other: Good public transport
As a SEN TA, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs and support them throughout their educational journey.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing support to students with special educational needs in a classroom setting
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering individualized learning programs
- Implementing strategies to support students' social, emotional, and academic development
- Monitoring and tracking student progress, and providing feedback to the class teacher
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as therapists and educational psychologists, to support students' specific needs
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Additionally, you should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with students in KS2, KS3, or KS4.
