The post-holder will have a postgraduate degree, ideally a doctoral degree, in a relevant topic and experience in aetiological epidemiological research using linked electronic health records on topics including infections and brain health.

The post requires strong data management and quantitative skills with expertise in a common statistical package such as Stata/R. A commitment to multi-disciplinary and collaborative working is also essential. Experience using the Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD) for epidemiological research is desirable. The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and fixed-term for 3 years. The post is funded by the Wellcome Trust and with a proposed start date of 29 January 2024.
