Buyer
The Role
- Liaising with internal departments regarding their procurement requirements
- Develop and maintain a supplier database for parts and materials
- Negotiating prices and lead times with suppliers
- Continually monitor company stock levels and adjust according to company requirements
- Attend production meetings to provide update on parts and materials
- Raising of purchase orders and resolving any invoice discrepancies
- Other relevant duties
Essential Criteria
- Educated to degree level or a minimum 2 years (+) in a similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Confident with a positive cando attitude
- Excellent computer skills
