Our Milton Keynes-based client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative that is willing to go the extra mile and be part of their newly formed team.


Position:
Warehouse Operative - Permanent Position


Hours: 8:30am-16:30pm Monday to Friday


Salary:
£22,000

The job will involve

  • Lifting of large, heavy items
  • Ensuring stock goods are picked in a timely manner ready for manufacturing
  • Following processes for taking in all deliveries
  • Keeping stock levels to an agreed amount
  • Ensure all goods out are packed to specification
  • Quality checking and fault identification
  • Carry out assembly work and other duties when asked by your Line Manager
  • Conform to all Health & Safety policies and guidelines
  • Work with the Production manager to continually improve our procedures to the highest level
The person will have

  • Willingness to work as part of a team and have the ability to work alone
  • Ability to follow company processes and work to targets
  • Able to problemsolve issues when they arise
  • Have a keen eye for detail and quality of work
  • Engage positively with continuous improvement
  • Basic Health & Safety understanding
  • Able to use your initiative to ensure you are kept busy
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Be able to operate a forklift (Licence needed)
  • Have a good work ethic and have the willingness to learn
