Description
Product Owner

  • Music Education Charity
London/hybrid

Up to £45,000

This business is on a mission to inspire people to fall in love with music and follow their dreams.

They believe everyone should have access to music education, and as a registered charity, they have helped to support hundreds of thousands of people across the globe achieve their goals, whether that's scholarships, donations, digital resources, qualifications, and so much more

I'm helping them find a Product Owner to join their agile Product team, reporting into their Head of Delivery (who is a complete legend by the way) who will be there to fully support you.

You'd be the most senior Product Owner in the team (however you don't need to have tonnes of experience, this will be a perfect step up for the right person) you'll own the vision for this function across the business, managing the continuous improvementof their core systems.

You won't have any line management duties, but you will have the opportunity to get involved and coaching and mentoring the other Product Owners in your team.

Alongside this, you'll be doing all the typical Product Owner duties, managing and prioritising the continuous improvement backlog, defining epics and user stories, and working closely with their Software Developers, bringing together the Product and Devteams to work well together and unite on a vision

It's a super exciting time to join these lot
- they've gone through some reshaping recently and have a much more agile way of thinking, which is great news for Product They're investing in USA and Asia, and the team is continuing to grow throughout 2023,they're a highly customer-centric bunch who have a lot of fun along the way.

Experience you'll ideally need:

  • A couple of years experience minimum in a Product focused role
  • Experienced with agile ways of working and methodologies
  • Comfortable working with technical teams such as Software Developers
  • Ability to support and mentor a small team of Product Owners
  • Experience in within Not for Profit, or education industries highly beneficial
  • Great communication skills, both written and spoken

They have built up a really lovely culture here, and I can genuinely tell from who I've spoken to, how much their employees genuinely enjoy working there.

They operate with hybrid working model, ideally 1-2 days per week in their Central London office, and the rest remotely if you like.

There are a lot of fun, like-minded people who work there; people who love charities, people who obviously are super passionate about music, and just good natured humans Their staff turnover is great, with many of their employees having been there for multipleyears.

If this sounds like a bit of you, please submit your CV and I'll be in touch to discuss
