Overview
As the Bookkeeper, you will report directly into the Managing Director, but given the broad range of departments this role interacts with on a daily basis, close working relationships with staff and management across the company is essential.
You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial statements, conducting analyses, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper include:
Overseeing all financial aspects of the company
Chasing of outstanding debts
Production of monthly management accounts
Variance analysis reporting
Annual budgeting and periodic forecasting
Reconciling bank and credit card statements.
Processing of sales and purchase transactions
Fixed asset management
VAT returns
Mileage and expense claim processing
Payroll processing
Interacting with every other department
Requirements of the Bookkeeper:
Accounting qualification desirable
Qualified by experience considered
Experience in a similar role
Proven record of maintaining and developing strong relationships
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Up to £30,000.00 per year
