SEN Teaching Assistant

The School

The school is based in Islington, North London and has a calm atmosphere and is led by a strong leadership team.

The school is Catholic and is an "outstanding" school. Pupils make good progress throughout their time here, with many starting as new learnersof English.

The school is a 20 minute walk from the nearest underground station or a quick bus ride.

The Role

The Headteacher is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a small number of students who need some additional support and guidance in class.

The school would ideally like to appoint a team member who has experience of working with pupils with additional needs and who has a positive, encouraging approach.

The salary for this role will be £75-85 per day and the role is full time during term time. This is a great opportunity to establish yourself in a good school. They are also a training school, so there could be a teacher training opportunity for a graduate.
