Hospital Cleaner

Job Purpose:

To support the cleaning services with professional & experienced staff to ensure the cleaning standards are maintained to the NHS 2007/11 Cleaning Standards and SLA's are delivered on time to the Trust

Main Duties & Responsibilities/key results areas**:

To carry out generic and specific cleaning duties both ad hoc and planned to contractual standards and frequencies as prescribed
To ensure the NHS 2007/11 Cleaning Standards are maintained in accordance with the Trust requirements
Ensure all Infection Control polices and guidelines are adhered to at all times
To ensure compliance with Health & Safety ISO9002, Infection Control and COSHH regulations while undertaking duties consummate with the post
Operation of domestic equipment in accordance with training
To participate in any training or meetings required to undertake the duties of this post
To observe strict compliance with Waste Management Regulations
To maintain accurate records as required by best practise, company procedures and current legislation
To maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene in line with Mitie's Hygiene Code of Practice
Complete any other duties which may be asked of you and that you have been trained
Demonstrate a clear and effective alignment with the operational objectives and the commercial interests of Mitie
