**Teaching & Learning Support Assistnt

PRIMARY SEN SCHOOL
Reigate
Immediate start
LONG TERM TEMP, FULL TIME, TERM TIME ONLY

we are looking for passionate support staff

Veritas are working with a
Primary SEN school that specialises in caring for students on the
Autistic spectrum and have complex needs.

The school is based in Reigate and caters for
ages 2-11 yrsand there are just over 100 students at the school.**The school have on site school psychologists, behaviour co coordinators and S&L therapists.

The classes have 5-8 students per class and the ratio is usually 1 LSA to 2 students.
The school are looking for a Learning Support assistant with ASD experience to support a range of ages.

Having experience in dealing with challenging situations and being proactive in your approach to these children is essential - but will also consider peoplewith social worker/support worker backgrounds that have a keen interest in supporting these young individuals.

Key skills and experience needed:

SEN experience
Strong behaviour management
One to one and small group work
Professional manor
Enthusiasm and friendly approach
Team Teach trained
Manual handling and hoists experience
