Description

SF Recruitment are working with a global organisation to recruit a buyer into their growing team based from their site in Solihull.

This role is permanent, full time, paying between £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience).

The buyer will be responsible for the following tasks:

Processes free text orders and related account assignment tasks.
Is responsible for procurement of specific product groups.
Reviews and approves order confirmations adapted by suppliers.
Creates benchmarks and RFQs (request for quotations) for products and services.
Participates in smaller projects as a procurement representative.
Checking and correcting of requisitions towards existing standards and suppliers.
Executes the operational procurement requirements via catalogues.
Administers supplier master data.
Negotiates savings and manages the administration of these savings in the system.
And other duties as assigned.
