Description
SF Recruitment are working with a global organisation to recruit a buyer into their growing team based from their site in Solihull.
This role is permanent, full time, paying between £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience).The buyer will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Processes free text orders and related account assignment tasks.
- Is responsible for procurement of specific product groups.
- Reviews and approves order confirmations adapted by suppliers.
- Creates benchmarks and RFQs (request for quotations) for products and services.
- Participates in smaller projects as a procurement representative.
- Checking and correcting of requisitions towards existing standards and suppliers.
- Executes the operational procurement requirements via catalogues.
- Administers supplier master data.
- Negotiates savings and manages the administration of these savings in the system.
- And other duties as assigned.
