What You Will Do:

App Support Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and delivering an exceptional level of customer service in instances where the nature of the issue warrants you to respond directly to a Customer Support ticket.
  • Contributing to growing a product that is technically robust by implementing creative solutions to improve overall reliability.
  • Providing a comprehensive support service alongside the rest of your team
  • This includes monitoring our system; responding to web incidents; diagnosing problems; remote server monitoring; and working to ensure the successful resolution of issues.
  • Contributing to our departmental documentation
  • This documentation is dynamic and evolving, meaning that it must be updated when processes are changed and/or new 'bestpractises' are established.

What You Will Have:


  • You must have:
  • A conceptual understanding of the basics of programming languages so that you are comfortable reading logs and gaining a general understanding of what they are showing.
  • Developed problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for internal and external purposes.
  • The ability to work proactively in a team in a busy environment that requires individuals to organise their own time and prioritise their workload.
  • Experience in DevOps.
  • An interest in Kubernetes.
  • Experience using mRemoteNG or navigating servers.

Advanced is flexible with shifts and respects that on occasions, employees have personal events that cannot be re-arranged (as such, shifts can be adjusted for these accordingly).
