Site Assistant -
September/October 2023
Whitfield Aspen School are wanting to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated person to support our multisite school.

You will be working within a small team and would be required to provide a key role in maintaining our school sites, to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the school community.

Full time position:
All year round contract, working 37 hours per week, including 26 days annual leave entitlement

Salary:
Kent Range 3 £21,293 with Local Government Pension Scheme

Formal Interview:
Thursday 7th September 2023

Practical Tasks for one morning between: Monday 11th - Wednesday 13th September 2023

CRITERIA

QUALIFICATIONS
Level 1 or 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with proficient practical skills.

GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE
Previous experience of working with children

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Numeracy and literacy skills

Basic IT skills

Have the ability to relate well to children and adults, understanding their needs and being able to respond accordingly.

Good influencing skills to encourage pupils to interact with others and be socially responsible

Hold 2 years clean driving license

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, security, equal opportunities and confidentiality
