Description

Your Teaching career with Five Rivers Child Care starts here; we are looking for
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our school in
Leeds.

You will work with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

As a HLTA, your day will be varied and exciting you will be able to support our teachers by assisting in the classrooms or out in the community whilst following a flexible structure and helping our children and young people to unlock their passion for learning.

You will be based in our Ofsted registered school but may also support our 1 ACE provision locally.

1 ACE (Another Chance Education) is our alternative education provision, which works with children and young people who struggle in their formal or specialised education settings; we offer education on an outreach basis or within one of our Ofsted registered a school.

You will work within a Trauma-informed practice model where we can support and follow a therapeutic practice.

Our leadership team will invest in your progression as a professional in the Education sector.

We source and deliver up-to-date training opportunities and prioritise and discuss your personal development goals to ensure you're getting the most out of your career.

We know how important it is that we look after you, so you can look after the children who need you, and that's one of the key reasons we were named Employer of the Year at the National Children and Young People Awards 2021.

Our young people may have had many adults come in and out of their lives, often adding to their trauma.

Therefore, we seek dedicated people who want to continue their careers with a therapeutically based organisation and leading alternative education provision.
