An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Team Leader - ADULT to assist within the Single point of access team, part of Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust, an outstanding Trust.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified health professional (e.g. nurse, occupational therapist or someone with clinical experience, Older People Mental Health) to join our team based in St Albans.

In addition we tailor a 12 week training and support package for our staff which will equip you with the skills required for the role.


This will assist in the Adult POD within SPA - forming part of the Single Point of Access Leadership team, you will work in partnership with Clinical Leaders to ensure that we continue to provide efficient, safe, responsive and high quality service to our service users & young people.

- work in collaboration with the Single Point of Access Manager to ensure the highest standards of practice and service delivery at all times
- manage and provide direction to a team consisting of SPA Clinicians/Practitioners, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Referral Advisers and Administrators
- plan, manage and deliver an effective information, advice, screening and triage service within the core of Single Point of Access
- ensure that the service delivery meets and achieves our key performance indicators
- have the drive to manage complex processes, build and maintain effective working relationships and be the matter expert for Adult Services within our Single point of Access.

To work in collaboration with the Single Point of Access Manager to ensure the highest standards of practice and service delivery.

To ensure Clinical Review of ADULT Mental Health Referrals.

To provide day to day management, leadership and supervision to an integrated team of Clinical Practitioners, Psychological Well being Practitioners, Referral Advisers and Administrators.

To undertake clinical/practice activity working alongside the Single Point of Access Clinicians and Practitioners.
Provide clinical and professional leadership to the team in order to ensure robust clinical governance.
Ensure effective delivery against Trust performance indicators.
Assume delegated responsibility for the management of the service and physical monitoring of the operational environment in the absence of the Single Point of Access Manager To line manage and lead clinical advisors
